In August 2007, Trinity Financial was selected as Master Developer for the vacant and underutilized land in the heart of the City of Lowell, known as the Hamilton Canal District. As part of the Trinity Financial Team, Meridian Associates will provide an evaluation of utility capacities and options, base mapping of surface conditions, and civil engineering design to support the transformation of this 15.2 acre site to a market supportable mix of commercial space including new retail, large floor-plate retail and office space, and up to 1,000 new market-site waterfront residential units in the area along the Hamilton, Pawtucket, and Merrimack canals. The total project, set for completion in 2018, is estimated to be $500 million.
