Description:

The Beverly Public Library originally provided 13,000 square feet of space. When the addition was completed in November 1993 it brought the total space occupied by the library to 44,000 square feet. This library has been available as a valuable educational and information resource to the City of Beverly since 1913 and currently houses 125,000 books with space for up to 190,000 literary publications. Meridian Associates, Inc. was retained to provide the Beverly Public Library project with the civil engineering design of site grading, utility connections, stormwater design, vehicle parking and handicap accessible pedestrian walkways, including handicap accessibility.
