Our 3D Laser Scanning services were used to develop an accurate as-built record of the Church Street Bridge deck, structural steel and highway prior to replacement. The use of this technology allowed the capture of information across the six lanes of traffic and the active MBTA Railroad adjacent to the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Project benefits: The remote sensing technology of our 3D Laser Scanning effect avoided the cost of lane shut downs and man lifts, accelerating the construction schedule. Using 3D Laser Scanning, current conditions above and below the bridge structure were captured to provide an accurate assessment of the cement concrete slab thickness and surface elevations prior to rehabilitation for compliance with contract specifications.
