The Kaplan Family Hospice House is currently a twelve (12) private bedroom facility that becomes the temporary home of terminally ill people who are unable to remain at their current residence and for those who desire a comfortable and secure setting. Hospice personnel are able to provide care 24 hours a day and family members may spend quality time with their loved ones in a home-like setting. In June 2009, the Hospice broke ground on the Ayer Anderson wing which will house eight new patient suites

Meridian Associates assisted the Hospice of the North Shore by providing technical support for regulatory permit acquisition and construction assistance for this state of the art facility. Services included site design, handicap parking and access, utility design, stormwater management and preparation of contract documents.
