Following the PerkinElmer acquisition of Caliper, Meridian Associates provided site/civil engineering, permitting, and landscape architecture design services for a 40,000+ square foot office building addition, and, separately, a 25,000+ square foot warehouse addition. These expansions were critical in establishing the PerkinElmer Center for Innovation, a state-of-the-art laboratory space where engineers, scientists and customers can interact, collaborate and share insights to benefit the international life sciences market.

Site design enhancements included a parking lot, loading area layout and grading, and new stormwater management systems utilizing native plantings. Meridian managed the local permitting in collaboration with the Hopkinton Planning Board and Conservation Commission.
