Endicott College and Beverly Crossing Win Project Awards from leading Industry Publication Engineering New Record

Meridian Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that two projects for which it provided civil engineering services have won awards from Engineering News Record (ENR), a leading publication for the Architect, Engineering, and Construction industry. Endicott College’s Cummings School of Nursing & Health Sciences was named an ENR New York / New England Project of the Year Finalist, while The Block at Odell Park located in downtown Beverly received an Award of Merit.

Endicott’s 70,000-sq-ft Cummings School building is designed for experiential learning with linking classrooms, labs, offices, multi-purpose meeting rooms, lounge spaces and support rooms, and marks the completion of Endicott’s extraordinary new 260,000-sq-ft academic complex, which Windover Construction Inc. constructed in five phases over 10 years. Project team members included Derck & Edson (Lead Design Firm), Windover Construction Inc. (Construction Manager), Stahl Scheaffer Engineering (Structural Engineer), and Dubois & King (MEP Engineer).

The Block At Odell Park is located adjacent to the state’s third most used commuter rail stop. The 167,000-sq-ft, six-story mixed-use property is a central edifice in downtown Beverly’s revitalization. The property includes 106 units, 9,000 sq ft of retail space, and a below-grade parking garage. Project team members included Depot Square Phase II LLC Beverly Crossing (Owner), SV Design (Lead Design Firm), Erland Construction (General Contractor), Souza, True and Partners Inc. (Structural Engineer), and Peterson Engineering (MEP Engineer).

Meridian Associates is pleased to have provided site survey and civil design for these two outstanding projects. We congratulate the project owners and team members on their exceptional work.
