Endicott College

Beverly, Massachusetts

Meridian Associates has been the Environmental and Civil Engineer on the growing campus of Endicott College for the last decade during a very exciting time in the college’s history. The original campus, mostly constructed in the 1960s, served the school well, but the growth in student population and the needs of students in the twenty-first century has necessitated the re-invention of the campus.

The new, vibrant facilities benefit the students and faculty at Endicott College by establishing a new hub for student life on campus that includes academic centers, residence halls, athletic facilities, and an arts center. The site design on the campus of Endicott College has proven to be challenging, given that sensitive wetland resource areas exist throughout the campus. Meridian provides designs that not only fit into the fabric of the existing campus, but ensure water quality from the completed projects would be greatly enhanced, and that any impacts to the wetlands and wildlife habitat areas are mitigated.

Meridian Associates has engaged in site planning and infrastructure design of numerous campus buildings:

  • The Callahan Student Center
  • Raymond J. Bourque Arena
  • Post Sports Center Expansion
  • Peter Frates Residence hall
  • Standish Residence Hall
  • Judge Science and Gerrish School of Business
  • New Academic Building and Auditorium (under construction)
