Palmer Cove Park and Playground

The city of Salem has a long-term project underway to redesign the Palmer Cove Park and Playground. The multi-stage effort includes engaging the community to optimize the best use of the public park. This includes connecting the park with existing bike paths in the city and addressing the deteriorated condition of the ball fields and basketball park. Meridian conducted an aerial survey and a subsequent boundary survey to produce a record conditions plan that would serve as a baseline for the park redesign. Our ability to quickly produce a highly accurate and detailed site plan reduced the time needed by our partner to present a conceptual design to the Salem Department of Parks and Recreation.
